floating among the clouds
i looked down and i saw
a thousand hopeful spirits
smiling a thousand smiles

infinite waves of bliss
are just beyond their sight
anticipation enlivens my thoughts
i have seen what they will become

but the choice is still within them
they need but continue to trudge
and the wonders that we all will share
will make it all worthwhile

my children, please continue
i am waiting on the other side
be patient, lean on others for strength
for the day of bliss will soon arrive
