Flood of Pain

October 14, 2006

Through the wall she hears the scream
The heights of pain
Felt in her heart
As she wishes she were there

Deep craving
For the feel of rope
Insatiable longing
For the drowning of hope

More than pain
Exquisite shades of gray
Overwhelmed in the shame
Lost in this new kind of hell

Flooding back
Memories of that moment
When all went black
Just after the flash of pure white

Wondering
Would he take her higher this night?
Screaming in silence
Choke back the tear

Another scream
Through the wall
Fading now
He approaches
