Questioning Acceptance

October 8, 2006

We long to feel
We long to be
We long to understand
We long to touch

Does perfect acceptance end the longing?

I accept that you are you
I accept that I am me
I accept you where you are
I accept me where I am

If we are intersecting, we will touch.
If not, I accept that we will not.

So, is there now no need to want?

I accept destiny's choice.
I long for the willingness to accept.
So, the longing never really ended, did it?
