Path of the Water

October 8, 2006

I sat in quiet contemplation
Of the image of a distant river
Seen through the eyes of a pure heart
Angel sent the view to me from afar

Path of the water
Fallen from the sky
Kissing first the trees
Finding the richness of the dust
From whence sprang all life
Water seeks itself
Wanders down from the peaks
Streambeds formed
Found again
Water flows
Always and forever
Yesterday and tomorrow
From your heart to mine

Life begins and ends
Circles infinite
Spinning, floating, bumping, crashing
Flowing
As the quiet stream

Likewise
Sometimes we touch
And in the touch
Changes sprout
And we flow
Onward
