I believe in the power of the human heart.
That heart, that feels pain when we are hurt, sorrow when we see loss, anxiety in the presence of fear, is the center of compassion.
Compassion, it seems to me, is the entrance to the divine. When I love you, without condition, I love Creation, Divinity, God... and self. The heart that cries is the heart willing to feel. The heart willing to feel is able to connect... to spirit, to others, to love... And love is all there really is.
But I see no real love unless I am willing to open my heart to you... unless I am willing to share your fear.... unless I am willing to smash the walls I have built... unless I choose to trust....
