Flight

May 9, 2009

Barely perceptible
Are the miniscule changes
In the flow of air
Beneath my wings

Vibrations
I learn to distinguish
I choose to perceive
Accepting the grace of the wind

There is no other feeling
I have ever felt
In this life or any other
Like that of flight

Save one, that is
The glory of feeling
A divine connection
With the man who watches from the beach

Lewes Beach
