The Colors of Her Love

February 8, 2009

She enters the crowded room
And the whole mood changes
It’s the color of her light
That colors the world she’s in

She flashes a bright smile
And he knows he is special
As she sits at the table with him
And reaches for his waiting hand

It’s the color of her light
That warms the world she’s in
It’s the color of her warmth
That fills her world with bliss

She lets him order her meal
Enjoys being a bit old fashioned
She likes being treated as a lady
And likes him to feel like a man

It’s the glowing of her love
That warms the world she’s in
It’s the color of her light
That fills their world with bliss

They enjoy a meal together
A few times their feet touch
Under the table they share
In the crowded restaurant

They feel a common love
In the colors of her heart
In glowing and calm warmth
Of her glowing and calm soul

It’s the glowing of her heart
That colors their wondrous world
It’s the sharing of their love
That fills their world with bliss
