The grasses waved, whispered a gentle hello
As the waves kissed the beach with passion
Many varieties of shells, colorful and fun
Giggled and laughed as they were swept along
Dropped on the sand, so constant and patient
The beach was bursting with life that day
She dreamed of giggling shells
Tall whispering sea grasses
Schools of shells, swimming as fish
She dreamed of a place of magic
Asleep on her playful beach towel
She stirred
And all at once
The grass stopped talking
The shells stopped giggling
The sand stopped breathing
The waves returned
To their rhythmic ebb and flow
She woke
And smiled
At a wonderful
And delightful dream
