A Blank Page

There's magic in a blank page
Clean, white, pristine
Where hope can find her way home
And the muse is ever welcome

There's wonder in a fresh day
Inviting weather's inevitability
A songbird finds her perch
On a waiting limb
And sings her simple truth

There's magic in a blank page
But not near as much
As a page filled with new words
