At times, my heart is thickened
By the worries of the day
Stillness that I held so close
Dissolved by forces unseen

The price of my worries
Measured in the distance from You
Greater than all that exists in this world
Peace comes to my heart only by Your love

Please, Father, Help me
To remember these simple truths
To accept Your gifts of security and comfort
To know that Love sets me free
