i looked in your eyes today
and saw the holiness in you

overwhelming feelings overtook me
good feelings; joy, bliss, love
but overwhelming nonetheless

what if god were really inside each of us?
would love fill all the earth?
would miracles pervade?
would strife end?

could i ever look in the eyes of a stranger and be afraid?
are there any strangers if each one is a dwelling place of God?

i walked down the street today
and passed a son of God
i rested on a bench today
and a daughter of God passed me

and i smiled
and she smiled
and God smiled
and all was love
