Thankfulness flows
from the one who remembers;
he walked in the great misery,
the bold suffering of his heart.

Lost then his way,
so many years ago;
saved from his bondage,
he was freed from his self.

Today, he walks in light,
each day brighter than the last;
prays for deeper faith
surrendering the lost past.
