Dark Corners

August 1, 2008

From the darkest corners of misery
Grow the subtle agents of change
In the dimly lit lost memories
Clever, dark and strange

There crosses the angel of dark
With wings of gold and steel
Touching the ancient fearfulness
Painted with the mystical seal

Enlivened in the state of pain
The walker walks the path
Dying in mysterious losses
Crippled by unending wrath

From the darkest corners of fear
From a mind of chaos and loss
He clings to life's old lessons
No matter what the cost
