Dancing the jubilant dance of joyous bliss
Fullness of love, perfect peace, tender hope
Our hearts grew wings and floated on clouds
Minds free of fear, shame, loss, and despair
In the turbulent midst of abounding calm
In the time between our breaths, in and out
In the spaces separating connected notes of song
I saw you weeping, felt your pain, shared your sorrow
Separate minds seek separate waves
Distinct bodies need disparate ground
But my spirit... and yours
Can share the same space
Take my hand, feel my smile
Walking with you, an inch or a mile
I'll share joy, you'll shed many tears
Together we'll stand, brief moment or years
