thoughts of love, shame, ego, truth

August 14, 2005

God is love.
I am a reflection of God, created in God's image.
I am love.
Shame is guilt, unresolved, held.
Guilt is the result of judgment.
When I judge my actions are wrong, I assign guilt to self.
When I fail to correct and forgive, guilt becomes shame.
I am love.
I am of God.
Perfect love (of God) casts out fear.
When I know I am love, I have no fear.
When I know I am love, I have no need to judge.
When I know I am love, I have no need for guilt.
Where guilt is not planted, no shame can grow.
Shame is an illusion.
Shame is possible only where there was guilt.
Guilt is possible only where there was judgment.
When there are no barriers to love, we will see God.
When we see God, we will have no shame.
Shame is impossible when we see the truth.
The truth is that our real self (of God, all love, perfect) is not of the ego.
The truth is that our real self (of God, all love, perfect) is not of the body.
Shame, guilt, judgment (and fear and anger and hatred) are of the ego.
The ego is not real.
Shame is not real.
When we choose to see the truth (with God's help) shame dissolves.
When we choose to see the truth (with God's help) love lives.
