Chapter 4
The Flow
If anybody says he can think about quantum physics without getting giddy, that only shows he has not understood the first thing about them. – Niels Bohr
Underlying all matter and energy is the perfect flow of love. The essence of love is the Mind of God. It is not possible to describe accurately and completely this Flow, as it is connected with and to infinity. Our finite minds aren't capable of fully grasping the infinite and endless nature and essence of this Power. Nonetheless, we humans have an inborn and deeply engrained longing to search for and discover answers to questions about the God's true nature.
Feel free, if it makes you more comfortable or if it simply resonates more harmoniously, to substitute your choice of word for the word God. Perhaps Source or Flow or Creator or some other word works better for you. It is not my intent to be exclusive in the use of word God or in any of the ideas set forth here.
It's conceivable that we'll never fully understand the whole picture. My aim is merely to guide us to some common ground which might serve as a foundation for the changes that are imminent. A world of peace and love is not divisive and thus this book seeks to be inviting and inclusive of varied ideas and viewpoints.
Perhaps the essence of love is that love is the actual mind of God, the thoughts of God, traveling through, creating, influencing, moving, energizing our universe. Beneath the atom, electrons, quarks, strings, at the level of the wiggles and waves that exist and non-exist, there is the essence of love.
Encompassing, transcending, surrounding, and supporting our universe, beyond the multiverse, there is the metaverse (heaven, nirvana, bliss) that is the home of the Mind of God. The essence of God is Love. The essence of Love is God. Love's thoughts and intents, originating in the metaverse, enter our existence, our awareness, our universe, in the form of creation and thought, of the energetic mind of God, actualized.
Time is relative. Love is absolute. Time is important for us with finite minds to place existence in a context that is, at least in part, comprehensible. But God has no such limits. And thus, Love has no such limits.
Love, when home in the Mind of God, is absolute, timeless, and infinite. When Love makes its trek from its home in God's Mind, in the metaverse, to our limited universe, it takes on the aspects of time and space and energy and matter.
So Love is quite literally the essence of ALL that we think, perceive, feel, are, give, and receive. Love is totality. Love has no limit. It is for these reasons that we are truly and quite literally all One. We are all, beneath all matter, energy, and thought, both constructed of and supported by the actualized extension of God's Mind that is love.
When we accept and embrace these ideas and ideals, we come to know that we are more than simply individual and distinct carbon-based lifeforms created in some sweeping cosmic accident. We begin to know and accept that we are part of something larger... much larger. We are indeed all a part of the Mind of Love. This is Oneness.
In Oneness, it becomes important to live in peace. Just as a right-minded person would not knowingly cause harm or damage to their self, as part of a truly connected whole, that same right-minded person would not knowingly cause harm or damage to another. There is no other. There is only one.
Hence, the recognition of the nature and essence of Love must lead to peace. It truly is this simple. Were all people, on a global level, to understand, embrace, and choose to live in acknowledgment of Love and Oneness, world peace would be the result.
We are all a part of the Flow, of Love – underlying and creating all – Love is the essence of our universe. When we embrace this truth, we live a life of love, of one-centeredness, of the knowledge that all of our thoughts, words, and actions affect the whole of humanity, or on a larger scale, the universe.
Living in harmony with Love, with the universal Flow, life becomes easy. When we set aside our ego-centered, self-centered ideas, wants, and illusions, and live in love for all humanity, of the true oneness of us all, there is found peace. Peace begins and ends when one person treats another with love.
In an understanding of oneness, it becomes clear that the concept of “only hurting myself” is utterly flawed and fallacious. When any of us acts or thinks in an unloving manner toward ourselves, we affect the whole of humanity, of the collective consciousness.
As we give and receive in love, and as we choose to live in loving peace, we contribute to the Flow. As more of us are harmoniously contributing to and participating in the Flow, it grows stronger. Those that resist cause it to ripple, to shift.
Think of two rivers. The first has no obstructions. It seems to flow effortlessly. Very little energy is wasted. There is very little friction. It flows. The second has many rocks. This river is a river of rapids. Much energy is wasted as the rocks are smoothed and eventually moved out of the way.
Both rivers flow, regardless of obstructions or lack of obstructions. But the unobstructed river is calm and peaceful.
Humanity is at a point of rapids. The Flow is interrupted and diverted and rippling. But it still flows. The river of change is inevitable. We can slow it a bit, maybe even divert it some, but it will still flow.
We are at a place of change. Will you be a rock and resist or instead find your true nature, joining the waters of the flow, and let the river take you? The former is painful. The latter is peaceful. Those who don't join will eventually be smoothed, broken down, and swept away. So joining the flow is inevitable. Why wait?
